A New Year

We headed down to the beach to watch the final sunset of 2010.
One of the most challenging years for us so far, it was a really peaceful way for us to look back on the year that was, the changes we had been through, the progress we had made.
The wind was fierce at the beach, whipping the sand up against our bare skin.
It felt like the year was being blown out with gusto.
We found shelter amongst the rocks, nestled together as a family we were shielded from the harshest winds.
It reminded us of our biggest lesson in 2010, that if we hold close to each other we can get through the harsh winds of life.
And now we look forward to 2011, so excited by all that lies ahead and so very thankful for so many wonderful blessings.
